Day 26 – Monday, May 7th – Today was another relaxing day in Ibague. We visited with my cousin Maria Carolina for most of the day. Little Sofia has a cold, but seems to be getting better. She has been sleeping a lot today so I’m hoping she will be feeling better soon.
Day 27 – Tuesday, May 8th – We drove through the mountains and are back in Bogota today. Ibague is only about 3 hours away, but the traffic in Bogota added an hour and a half to our trip. It was wonderful to visit my Tio Fernando, Alba Lucia and Maria Carolina. My family is so wonderful. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel at home. I am so lucky to have my Colombian family!
