We started our adoption journey in February of 2010. After two years, which can be summed up as the "hurry up and wait" years, we finally received our referral on Friday, February 3rd. (Yup Alicia, you were right on the money!) We received the call in the afternoon and I haven't stopped smiling yet! We are thrilled to have this beautiful baby girl join our family.
Introducing...
We are looking forward to our upcoming journey... our trip to Colombia, the first time we get to hold our baby girl, introducing Sofia to our family and friends, and starting our lives as a family of four. I will continue to post to this blog throughout our experiences.
